News recommendation system was semester project as name suggests it recommends you news based on your implicit and explicit feedback & input. For starers user select at least 5 news category as interested. And as he uses the service we compare the similarity with other users to recommend the news that he will like to read. So we use web crawler to collect news from different sources and then classify those news. Using sine and cosine similarities we provide news to each user.
This project consists of two parts. we created an android app for general public to know about all the government schemes and the requirements under single window. Big data and charts are used by government bodies for real time monitoring and analysis of all the things related to it.
